The Southern Prairie Library System is offering a series of free Financial Fitness programs beginning on Tuesday, May 9th, from 12 noon until 1 p.m. with a FREE LUNCH provided at the Altus Public Library, 421 North Hudson. This program is a series of six interactive financial education workshops that can help anyone learn the basics about money, developing a budget, responsible credit, reasonable debt, saving for college and life events, investing, planning for retirement and much more. Come to the Altus Public Library for a FREE Lunch and Learn Hour to learn the basics of smart money management and planning for a secure future. The dates are May 9th, 16th, and 23rd; and June 14th, 16th, and 23rd. The instructor is Cheryl Lively, OSU Extension Educator. Lunch as well as excellent financial planning resources and materials will be provided free to all who attend this series. This project is made possible by a grant from the FINRA Investor Education Foundation. Space is limited and registration is required in order to plan for food and materials.
