Ashley Ramos

I am the one of the newest additions to the KCCU team as the Program Assistant III. I started in March 2012 and have since learned a lot about public radio. Growing up I never really listened to public radio and really wasn’t introduced to it until I moved to Lawton, OK.  I am a news fanatic so it’s surprising I have never really heard of it. I am happy to be a part of the KCCU team and be able to work with my colleagues as they make it worth coming to work! I handle all aspects of the budgeting for the department and all other administrative questions the community may have.

I am not an Oklahoma native as I was born in Dallas, TX. I lived in Lewisville for about 15 years until we moved to San Antonio, TX where I met my husband in the military and are now residing in this wonderful city of Lawton, OK. So far I have enjoyed my time here in Lawton as I have also been able to return to school and work on a degree.  

In my spare time when I am not working on school work, I am at home enjoying time with my husband and beautiful little boy preparing for our new arrival in September.
