Cameron Gears Up for Spring Semester

Lawton, Ok. – Cameron University's spring semester classes are set to begin January 12 with enrollment continuing. A special enrollment session is set to help students who have been busy during intersession.
It takes place Saturday, January 10, 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. on the Lawton campus plus at the Duncan Higher Education Center.
Financial aid information, advisors, the bookstore and more will be open on campus for the students' convenience. For more information, call 580-581-2211.
Also scheduled is the first rehearsal for the combined spring concert of the CU/Lawton Community Band and the CU/Lawton Civic Chorale planned for Sunday, February 8, at 3 p.m. The first rehearsal is January 11 in the Music Building of the Louise D. Mc Mahon Fine Arts Complex in Lawton. Others follow each Sunday from 2 till 4 p.m. till the performance. For more information, call 581-2440.
Tryouts for the Cole Porter musical of "Kiss Me Kate" to be performed March 4-7 are set for January 13 and 14.
The tryouts are open to the public and those auditioning should prepare a memorized song from a musical other than "Kiss Me Kate." The audtions begin at 7 p.m. both nights at the CU Theatre, 27th and A Ave. For more information, call 581-2346.
