MONTAGNE: Finnish cell phone manufacturer Nokia announced it will cut 10,000 jobs by the end of next year; this follows the nearly 14,000 jobs cuts the company announced last year. Nokia once dominated the cell phone industry but in recent years it has struggled to keep up with smartphone makers like Samsung and Apple. Transcript provided by NPR, Copyright NPR.
