Fires Scorch Northwest Oklahoma

Woodward, OK – Two separate grass fires in northwest Oklahoma flared up again yesterday and combined to destroy about 15,000 acres.

Woodward County Emergency Management Director Matt Lehenbauer says one blaze near Selman in Harper County burned 10,000 acres, while another near Mooreland scorched another 5,000. There were no reports of injuries or destroyed structures.
