Funeral Set Dec. 30 for Trooper Green Murdered Dec. 26

Lawton, Ok. – The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investgation and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol set up their command post near Randlett in Cotton County as they continued to probe the Dec. 26 shooting death of Trooper Nikky Green. The 35-year old Green was investigating a man and a suspicious car on a rural road not far from his Devol home early Friday morning when he was killed.
The dashboard camera was on in Green's patrol car and it captured a suspect and a vehicle in front of it. After analyzing the tape, authorities said the vehicle apparently was a Geo Spectrum with Oklahoma tag SVX-697. The man in the video was described as a white, clean-shaven male about 30 years old, about 6'1" tall or so, about 220 pounds with short brown hair and glasses.
Anyone with information who might have seen the vehicle in Cotton County Friday morning about 7 a.m. was asked to call the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017.
The funeral service for Nikky Green was set for Tuesday, Dec. 30, at Lawton's First Baptist Church. He also was a Devol church youth pastor and is survived by his wife and three young daughters.
