KCCU General Manger Doug Cole was arrested on charges of "Having a big heart," at 10 o'clock on the morning of June 6, 2013. He was subsequently booked into the notorious Outback Steakhouse slammer on Cache Road until he could post his $800 bail to the MDA.
Fortunately, due to the generosity of friends, this caper has a happy ending. Doug was able to successfully raise over $800. After some bread and water (spelled steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, sauteed mushrooms and coffee) Doug was remanded to the custody of News Director Clinton Wieden, who came to the prison gates to pick-up and return Doug to work.
Rumor has in, the indictment for next year is being prepared.
