New Food Court Offers CU Students More Choices

Lawton, Ok. – The Clarence Davis Student Union on the Cameron University Lawton campus is in its second phase of upgrade and improvement. And as of January 26, it started offering food choices from its three restaurants in the food court plus grab-and-go foods, snacks and drinks.
Under an agreement between the university and SODEXHO Food Services, the new Sky Ranch Grill cooks grilled hamburgers, chicken, fish, plus hot fries, mozzarella sticks and more. The sub connection (they like small letters) offers hot and cold sub sandwiches with hot gourmet fresh-baked bread and fresh vegetables. And the Pizza Hut Express serves up the hot personal pizza students have come to expect plus breadsticks and other treats. During the February 16 Grand Opening Celebration, the Lawton-Ft. Sill Chamber of Commerce and Industry Red Coat Ambassadors and Chamber Board President Phil Kennedy joined Cameron's President Cindy Ross, CU Vice President of Business and Finance Glen Pinkston and John Nickel, General Manager of SODEXHO, for the ribbon cutting. A special prize was offered in a drawing and a giant cake decorated with areas representing the new food court areas was cut in generous pieces for visitors and students alike to enjoy. Nickel invited the public to come and try the new food offerings as well at the food court which is open till 5 p.m. on weekdays.
