Storm System Blows in Cold Air, Flakes in NW Ok.

Lawton, Ok. – According to the National Weather Service, snow and blowing snow could be a problem with the Dec. 22 storm system in the Ok. panhandle. In the way of precipitation, though, in southwest Oklahoma and north Texas a few raindrops might fall but northwest winds continued to dry out the area as they deposited frigid air.
The system might bring showers and thunderstorms to the eastern part of both states.
The next system headed our way with possible precipitation would ge late in the week.
