Texoma Gives 9/15/16

Texoma Gives

KCCU is one of the participating organizations in Texoma Gives. The 16-hour online event occurs on September 15.  Nor-for-profits who have registered in a 24-county area of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma are eligible to participate.

To support KCCU on the 15th, click here.

The minimum donation is 25-dollars. The event is designed to grow philanthropy in the region and is organized by the Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation. A list of participating organizations can be found here.

Organizations are broken into categories based on their annual budgets. KCCU is participating in the Medium division.

One of the exciting aspects of Texoma Gives is the chance for not-for-profits, such as KCCU, to win extra money in prizes. NFP's are eligible for the prizes by receiving the first gift of the day, the most individual gifts in a time period, the most money in other time periods, the most gifts overall as well as other contests and random drawings for prize money.

If you want to contribute, but do not want to do it online, make your check out to 'Texoma Gives' and put 'KCCU-FM' in the memo line and send your check to: KCCU, 2800 W Gore Blvd, Lawton, OK 73505. We will hand carry it to the WFACF. These gifts do not count toward the timed contests but do count towards the overall totals and associated prizes. We must receive your check prior to the 15th.

You can also give on the day of the event between 8:30 am & 4:30 pm by calling 940-766-0829 with your credit card information.

The financial situation for KCCU as well as other not-for-profits is dire at best. You support will help KCCU and others to carry out our missions for another year.

Doug Cole joined KCCU-FM in April, 2007 as Station Manager and Operations Director. In November 2012, Doug accepted the title of Interim General Manager. Doug became Director of Broadcasting, effective July 1, 2013. Prior to moving to Lawton, Doug was the General Manager of KOCV-FM, Odessa College, in Odessa Texas.
