Community Focus is KCCU’s weekly public affairs program. Hosted by Clinton Wieden, Community Focus examines events and issues from across Southwest Oklahoma and western North Texas with in-depth discussions to keep you informed about what's happening in Texoma.

This week, we look at this year's Lawton-Fort Sill Freedom Festival. Keith Jackson, Lawton City Councilman and chair of the Freedom Festival Committee, joins us to talk about the event.

This week, Amanda Richey and Shaun Calix from the cast of "Next to Normal" join us to talk about the production at the Lawton Community Theatre, the play's subject matter, and the panel discussions being held after some performances to help educate the audience about mental illness.

This week, we're joined by local historian and author Bill Neeley and his colleague Bob Saul, here to talk about their work recording the life and legacy of Quanah Parker and Neeley's new book on the life of Juan Seguin.

This week, our guests are Tiffany Vrska and Sandy Foster of the planning committee for Lawton Fort Sill Open Streets, joining us to talk about the next event coming up on June 2.
