PSA Policy

KCCU will be happy to air your organization’s public service announcement. KCCU must receive the event information 14-days prior to the event. It takes us time to write the copy, record, ingest into our automation server and then to program the announcement.

To be eligible for broadcast, the submitting organization must be either a 501©(3) entity, or the proceeds of the event must benefit a not-for-profit.

KCCU is happy to support your organization with free airtime.

Please do not take advantage of our generosity. If you are running paid announcements for your event on other media outlets, please do not expect us to give you free announcements for the same event.

You can post the event yourself to our community calendar by clicking here. If you want your event on-the-air, you must let us know. Events submitted to the event calendar are not automatically put on-air.
