Lawton, Ok. – KCCU will continue to bring the area the latest weekday weather in the morning and evening news segments with the KSWO-TV meteorologists plus provide the new addition of coverage of severe weather events when they strike. The special new radio coverage is beginning with the spring storm season and will include information from radar as well as reporters and spotters in the field from the television station.
Lawton, Ok. – The Cole Porter musical, "Kiss Me Kate," to be presented by Cameron University March 4-6 at 8 p.m. and March 7 at 2 p.m. in the University Theatre features some outstanding musical numbers. That's according to Professor Dr. David Fennema of Cameron's Music and Theatre Arts Department. "The students have worked very hard on the production and do an outstanding job," said Fennema. He also stressed the outstanding light and set work as well as costuming in the production based on Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew.
Duncan, Ok. – The Cameron University reception to honor outstanding Duncan High School juniors and seniors is set for 6:30 p.m. March 4 at the Duncan Higher Education Center, 1300 W. Bois d'Arc, Duncan. This first reception is co-sponsored by BancFirst of Duncan and the Cameron University Alumni Association.
Oklahoma City, Ok. – The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation plans to host an Oklahoma City Meeting the last week of February for law enforcement officers concerning the deaths of ten women whose bodies were found in four states over the past few years, and whether they may be linked.
Lawton, Ok. – Cameron Students in Free Enterprise (S.I.F.E) will be presenters during the free Feb. 25 Cameron University Business Forum at 11:45 a.m. in the Will Rogers Room of Shepler Center. It is intended to provide future entrepreneurs and existing business people with information about resources and basic components of business development. The lunch line will be open at 11:45 for the optional meal at a cost of $4 plus tax and the presentations will start about 12:15 p.m.
