Daughter of Dawn Premiere

The Daughter of Dawn is a silent film made in Oklahoma in the early 1900's. The film was lost for 80 years, but the Oklahoma Historical Society has restored the film. Mitch Watson reports the premiere attracted a large audience.

KCCU Staff on the Run

The Spirit of Survival Half-marathon / Half-marathon relay / 5K / Kids Marathon / Spirit Walk was held Sunday, October 7, 2012 in Lawton, Oklahoma. Two members of the KCCU staff participated in the running events.

Production Director  Cynthia Sosa ran the 5K (34:27), and Station Manager and Operation Director Doug Cole, competed in the Half Marathon (2:10:24). Doug's wife Renee' also participated in the 5K.
